Our Founder
Hi I'm Nikki! Thank you so much for being here.
I started Avina Fashions for 2 reasons:
1. It sucked watching women navigate an industry that didn't work for them, because it was made on assumptions about women, not by actually listening to their wants and needs. I saw how someone moves differently through the world when they're wearing an outfit they feel AMAZING in. My life's mission at its core is women having more enjoyment, flexibility, and joy in their lives
2. More selfishly, I loved what I did. I worked at Bellissima Fashions as their Director of Marketing, and being able to connect with so many other women through fashion was the most fulfilling experience of my life.
Right now, Avina is small, and it's been completely bootstrapped from day 1. Thanks to our loyal customers, we've been able to grow sustainably into our 2nd year of business (2026)🎊🤍
The vision is big:
A chain of boutiques across Canada where women are the priority, not an afterthought. Where managers have real ownership and investment in its success. Where shopping feels like visiting a trusted friend who actually knows what works for you.
We're not there yet. But we're building toward it - one thoughtful collection, one real customer, one honest interaction at a time.
